Diversity Fund Details

 

This fund is for all people who are on the receiving end of oppressor dynamics, and who cannot afford the full rate of therapy. They will be experiencing any number of identity intersections that mean life involves navigating systemic prejudice, injustice, and inequality, such as:

  

• Race

• Disability

• Gender & Sexuality 

• Neurodiversity 

• Socio-economic status

 

The Process

 

When someone asks for a bursary, I’m only going to ask one question:  How much can you reasonably afford to pay per session? 

 

They will agree pay this amount, and the fund will subsidize the rest.

So if you can pay £20 for a session, the fund will cover the £40 gap, to meet my standard hourly rate.

I'm not going to be picking and choosing who gets the bursary, as that would be me holding power. The bursary will be self-selected and based on trust that you are genuinely in need.

 

I will offer a maximum of 6 sessions per person at this agreed price, with the fund subsidizing the shortfall.  This is to enable the fund to reach as many people as possible.
